For the longest time as hard as I tried, I just couldn’t make any sense at all out of the vast drug addictions across the globe. I mean people see addicts and they have huge sore’s all over their bodies, they look as if they are starving to death, like a skeleton with infected skin stretched over it, most of their teeth decayed or missing, then they step back to take a good look at them and say to themselves, “WOW!!!! I want to look just like you, that’s happening! Please get me some of whatever you’re taking that is killing you. How can you possibly make any sense out of that scenario? What I have learned is that is not how it works at all. You see an event occurred just recently that involved some long-time friends but also some children. I thought I could reach out to the public on that social media post and appeal to their sympathy and compassion for children. Asking them to please consider them and refrain from judging and convicting their father when they have no facts involving the case anyway. It seemed like a reasonable request since in our country according to our laws we are innocent until proven guilty. You would have thought I was choosing sides with a satanic child molesting killer. No one wanted to hear it as far as they were concerned the children could just deal with it. This is when it occurred to me the reasoning behind all the addicts across the globe. You see they don’t want to see the facts. Like the sores, decayed teeth, loss of weight, loss of jobs, family, etc. The truth doesn’t matter. What matters is someone, perhaps a friend told them that this drug was amazing, it takes you to a utopia, unlike anything you have ever experienced. It gives you the ability to have sex like a porn star. And that’s pretty much all it takes. They try it that one time. Telling themselves that it won’t hurt to try it just once. However, what they fail to factor into that equation is how weak-minded they are. You see weak-minded people have addictive natures because they don’t have the strength to walk away or say no. They are easily persuaded by peer pressure and social media news. They don’t believe in Santa Clause when he is right there in the local mall, but someone can tell them someone else did something right or wrong and they will take that for its face value. Weak-minded people are like sheep. Did you know that if a sheep in a flock walked off the edge of a cliff to its death that most if not all that flock will follow it? That is the truth, of course, don’t take my word for it research it. These are the kind of people that believe everything they see and hear will go so far as to bet their life on it and not have the first fact to back it up. If the news puts a post-up on a social media site, read it you can even discuss it with your friends and family if you like. But why would you want to add comments that make you and all those that follow you look stupid? What do you have to gain making comments that will hurt a child, a mother, or other family members that have done nothing wrong at all? You have nothing to gain from it. You simply saw the news put accusations out there and get some attention, so you feel the need to climb on the attention bandwagon as well. Because you are a sheep. Until you can make decisions that are yours alone not influenced by others and for the most part they are good and right, not hurting anyone else for any reason, you will always be a sheep. Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut and let everyone else think you are stupid than to open it and remove all doubt. Sadly, some still make no sense at all.
