I love you

So simple to say these three words. Yet… they remain the most miss understood, abused, and yes… powerful words we could ever say. So much power they are literally life-changing. Explain to me the logic. If you say to someone I love you, you are my everything, and then look toward another in even the smallest form of lust what truth is there in what you have just said? What truth is there in what you claim to feel? How can you out of anger look upon the one you love and say “I hate you” and possibly expect them to ever truly believe you when you say “I love you”? While so many say I love you without thought or even care, just as they would hello or goodbye. Just as they would express feelings for countless other things such as colors, clothes, a new car, a home, or a best friend. These words are used also for deceit, lies, and to soften retribution of some wrongdoing. Soon many become leery of these words and put little merit in them or those saying them. They become commonplace in our lives more so than the treasured words spoken to or shared with those or that which is closest to our hearts. Today these words have grown weaker no longer having the power to stand alone. They require reassurance. As simple to say as the words “I Love you” so should it be also to show or reassure that these words you say have true meaning. In fact from your actions alone love can be seen and felt even more so than had you said I love you ten thousand times. Do not concern yourself so much by telling others that you love them. Show them… show them that you understand, you care, you feel, and that they exist in every thought you have. To truly love someone is to care for them in every possible way even more so than you do yourself. If they truly love you they will do exactly the same. Do this and you will have stepped far beyond the boundaries of “I love you”. You will have experienced the elusive phenomenal feeling of being… in love. In love there are no conditions, there is only trust absolute, love unconditionally, and love that reaches far beyond and is far greater than ever after.

Simply my thoughts
