Everything

More often than not we are blind to the reality of what is there before us. We starve for what we wish we had when we had it all along. We say prayers, we wish upon a star in hopes of a miracle or magic to come into our lives. Behold…. We are the miracle and as magical as any living thing. There is no other that can love with such passion or compassion. There is no other that can see or feel the beauty of life that engulfs our very existence. We sometimes think we are alone when in reality we are in a crowd. So many seek love when love is there all along. Why is it so hard to see the obvious? So many look at their lives and feel they have no life at all. Yet they dare not compare the life they have with those that truly do not have a life. Take a moment and look around you. See the world and look again at yourself. What is it in life that you seek? What is it that you are willing to give? There are so many rewards given to us each day of our lives and not one is noticed. We read about some tragic event in the paper, someone dies; a loved one or friend is lost forever. As sad as this is, you are reading about it rather than it being you that others are reading about. How many of us drop pennies on the ground and feel it is not worth the effort to pick up? Yet while standing at checkout and seeing a container asking for your help you shun it and keep to yourself these worthless pennies. Still expecting others to give to your own needs. Our rewards are only as great as we ourselves are. Look into your own heart. How great are you? I share with you my thoughts, my ideas, and my logic. My rewards are great. My rewards are those that choose freely to be my friends. My rewards are going through a day not dodging enemies but greeting friends. Stretching out my hand to meet those stretched out to me. When you think that you have nothing think again. More often than not those that have everything appreciate nothing, while those that have nothing appreciate everything. If you looked closely you might discover that in every sense of the words, in all reality you have both. I know that I do. But then of course what is everything to me may very well be nothing to you. It is up to you to know what is everything to you and to then appreciate all that you have, and all that you are.

Simply my thoughts
