I am not a sheep. Sheep have been known to be great followers. They are by nature very social. They follow so blindly that should one sheep jump off a cliff to its death, if they are not stopped, every sheep in the herd will follow to the exact same demise. I have seen firsthand the effects the drug (meth) has on people, families, workplaces, and almost every aspect of our lives. If ever there was a drug deserving of a label (The Devil’s drug) meth would be it. We see the effects it has on people nearly every day. Surely you didn’t think that guy out pressure washing and detailing his clothes washing machine at 5:00 am was a natural phenomenon, did you? If there are young people up and raring to go at 4:00 in the morning, you can almost safely wager, they have been up for the past two or three mornings and nights raring to go too. Those people you see that look like skeletons with skin stretched over them, sores on their faces, arms, and legs from nervous scratching, are not always dealing with some rare medical issues. The sheep people see these people, in poor health. Most of them are jobless. Many of them are toothless or a mouths full of black decayed teeth that need to be removed. The sheep people see these people standing out in public parking lots, removing clothing, moving, and jerking around as if possessed by some demon. They see them steal from any and all members of their family as if they are mortal enemies. They see them, neglect children, neglect the elderly, and neglect themselves. There is not one thing appealing about meth to those that have never had it. All that you can see is the bitterness it has bestowed its user. Yet somehow the sheep is lured into the circle with lies and broken promises, only to find themselves chemically chained to the devil’s drug on a fast ride to nowhere. The vicious circle begins. Not wanting to be alone on this ride, no longer having compassion they seek companionship. So they sell their friends, and family the same bill of lies and broken promises. Sadly, this devil’s drug is not the only sheepherder in the business. There are many. The media steers the sheep around in almost any direction they want. As the sheep wander around hopelessly lost waiting for further instructions from the media, the media is laughing all the way to the bank. Still, the most outrageous sheepherder of them all would be none other than politics. Politics much like meth sways the sheep with lies and empty promises, guaranteeing them a ride to nowhere. The really sad thing about the politically led sheep, most are educated, many with degrees, and masters. Yet they blindly follow the rest of their herd right over the cliff to their demise. Ladies, gentlemen, and sheep. Please don’t be a sheep. Don’t follow the other sheep. Open your eyes and open your minds. The world is full of information. The truth is out there if you will open your eyes and your mind. There is much more to the saying “The truth will set you free” than mere words. We are all very unique individuals when we are ourselves. It is when we adorn the sheep’s clothing that we resemble in every way everyone else.
