Our Chaos

Wouldn’t it be grand if we didn’t have so many signs, and all those white, yellow, blue, and even red lines on everything just messing up the landscape? Just imagine pulling into a mall and being able to park anywhere you liked, because there would be no lines to indicate where you should park. That way everyone could park close to the door and save a few steps. It would be like one giant handicap parking spot. When you decided to go out for a drive that would be much easier also. No lines on the roads to divide it, no signs, no traffic lights. Just imagine everyone driving on whichever side of the road they felt like and no one ever having to sit at one of those crazy traffic lights, or bother stopping at an intersection again. While we are making things so much easier, why bother with sewage and sanitation when we can all just throw our trash out the window and let the raw sewage run in the ditches. Just think of the money we will save. I’m thinking we should just get rid of money too, I mean if we all just decided to take whatever we wanted, why would we need the money anyway? You know what that means don’t you, that’s it, no more work. Why waste time working if you don’t need money. This would help eliminate poverty because then everyone could just move into whatever house they wanted to and eat whatever they wanted to. Guess what else we can throw in the mix, health care, that’s right free health care for everyone. Just like the politicians have been trying to get for years. As soon as the doctors get back from their vacations, they can treat you if they like. Doesn’t this all sound amazing? Of course, it does if you like complete and total chaos. If you can see how impossible this would be, then why do you insist on ignoring all these things put here to help everyone? Why do you feel you are more privileged than any of the rest of us? What if everyone did just like you? Vehicles would be piled up everywhere, no one could move from the parking lots, traffic would be at a standstill on every street, highway, and interstate in the country. We couldn’t go outside without wearing a hazmat suit for protection. People would be dying left and right from sickness, starvation, and crime. Once all the food and everything else in the business was gone people would start stealing from each other and killing to protect what they had. All this wonderful chaos over you being stupid and thinking you’re privileged. Stupid is contagious, when your kids see you parking wherever you want, they think it’s the right thing to do. When your kids see you throw a dirty diaper, your fast food leftovers, or your empty soda bottles out the window, they think it is OK and the right thing to do. When your kids see you speeding, squealing tires, running stop signs, drinking and driving they think it is all OK and the right thing to do. When they see you beating their mother, they think it’s how it is meant to be. Instead of you teaching your children to be better, smarter, and more successful, you’re teaching them to be just as stupid and privileged as you are. When you look around at everyone else that isn’t doing the stupid things you are, don’t be angry, or jealous, be thankful. Some say you can’t fix stupid, so what’s your excuse? If not for them, we would be in hazmat suits and you wouldn’t be reading this. If you insist on being entitled and stupid, could you at least do one thing right? Please, do not be fruitful and multiply.
