Stupid

You are just stupid, I mean as dumb as a box of rocks. You are worthless, I have never seen anyone more worthless than you are. You are a waste of oxygen, why are you even living? Yeah you, I’m talking to you. How do you feel about that? How does it make you feel when you are determined to please someone you look up to, doing the very best you can because no one has taken the time to show you, you don’t do very well. Then they yell across the room how stupid you are, how worthless. How would you feel? How would you feel if the people you looked up to, loved, and respected never had time for you, never had a good word to say to you or about you? How would you feel? How would you feel if it was your first day on the job, you are nervous, scared, shy, but also desperate. You really need this job. Instead of your co-workers and supervisors helping you get acquainted with everyone and everything, they avoid you, laugh at you to your face and behind your back. They look for everything wrong and nothing right. You’re hurt, humiliated, ashamed to even show up the next day but you need the job so you show up in spite of the embarrassment. How do you feel? You’re a female engineer on a huge industrial construction site. It’s hot, mid-July. You are dressed in white pants and a sleeveless shirt, walking across the very center of the site. It’s so hot you didn’t notice you had started your monthly cycle and your white pants are stained red almost to your knees. You can hear men from every direction laughing, yelling vulgarities at you as if you were less than an animal. How do you feel? Some of you may try to play it off like it doesn’t bother you at all, that’s just the way it is in the real world. I’m here to tell you that if that is what you truly believe I will avoid your real-world at all cost. Maybe you can suck it up and take it, the overwhelming majority can not. Children can not, if the truth was known you can not either. You talk down to children like this and they could carry a complex it will take many years to outgrow if they ever do. You treat those less fortunate than you like this, you could destroy their self-worth to a degree of pushing them into severe suicidal depression, even suicide. Can you live with that? The situation with the woman on the construction site was true. Out of well over a hundred men and women yelling, and laughing at her, I climbed down from my workplace ran across the open yard while removing my long sleeve denim shirt, and tied it around her to help conceal her tragic situation. All of a sudden you could hear a pin drop. All of those people that laughed at that poor lady because one MAN helped her felt ashamed and like the disgusting idiots they portrayed. You get what you give. Treat a child with love and patience and they are much more likely to love you more and try even harder to please you. You are their idol. Treat a coworker as an equal and you will make the job even more enjoyable and you will learn from each other. Be a gentleman, and or a lady, others would be proud to emulate, not one they will hold their heads down in shame when caught acting like you. Treat people, ALL people of all ages with respect, and be respected. Stupid is, stupid does, don’t be stupid by calling someone stupid, especially a child. That’s just stupid.
